Through MagnifiScience Travelling Exhibitions initiative, The Dawood Foundation takes exhibits to various educational events across the country. Exhibit themes are customized according to the audience and interest of the event organizers.
TDF MagnifiScience Travelling Exhibitions are collaboration of The Dawood Foundation with organizations that are interested in hosting/organizing science exhibitions and activities in their respective spaces. The Dawood Foundation specially designs and curates events based on the themes identified. We take exhibits to various educational events across the country. TDF MagnifiScience Travels includes interactive exhibits, designed by professionals and experts. The themes are further customized according to the needs of the organizers.
WOW – Women of the World – Festival
The Dawood Foundation participated in The WOW – Women of the World festival in Karachi held at the Alliance Française de Karachi on 2nd and 3rd December 2017.
Lahore Science Mela Jan 2018 – Collaboration with Khwarizmi Science Society
The Dawood Foundation participated in the Lahore Science Mela 2018, a two-day science fest organized by the Khwarizmi Science Society. The event showcased inventions, discoveries, experiments, science models and artifacts received from all parts of Pakistan.
TDF MagnifiScience Thar Exhibition Oct 2018 – Collaborated effort with Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company
TDF MagnifiScience Thar Exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Thar Foundation, Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC), Engro Corporation and Engro Powergen Thar (Pvt.) Limited. Approx. 14,000 children from across Thar gathered for the two-day exhibition.
Space Girls Space Women: Space Through the Eyes of Women – Collaboration with the Consulate of Italy Karachi
The Dawood Foundation collaborated with The Consulate of Italy in Karachi to present “Space Girls Space Women: Space Through the Eyes of Women” with interactive exhibits and sessions representing space voyages. Renowned Italian astrophysicist, Dr. Laura Patrizii, spoke to the girls and inspired them to reach for the stars.
CAP Family Carnival Jan 2019 – Collaboration with The Citizens Archive Pakistan (CAP)
The Dawood Foundation (TDF) participated in the CAP Family Carnival 2019 held at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi. TDF MagnifiScience’s intriguing exhibits engaged children to playfully explore interactive games along with a multitude of constructive hands-on activities, that cover every day scientific principles and encourage them to put that knowledge to use.
The KDSP Carnival 2019 – Collaboration with Karachi Down Syndrome Program
The Dawood Foundation (TDF) participated in ‘KDSP Carnival 2019’ to celebrate the ‘World Down-Syndrome Day’ on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at DHA Sports Club – Moin Khan Academy
Shehr-e-Funn Children’s Festival September 2019 – Collaboration with Pursukoon Karachi
The Dawood Foundation (TDF) participated in Shehr-e-Funn Children’s Festival 2019 organised by Pursukoon Karachi at the Governor House. TDF’s arena, Safety Science: Hifazat Hai Fun, was composed of three thematic areas: Build your home, Deconstructing Hazards @ Home, and Science of Signs.
The KDSP Carnival 2020 – Collaboration with Karachi Down Syndrome Program
The Dawood Foundation (TDF) took part in KDSP Carnival 2020 to celebrate the contributions of people with Down Syndrome. The carnival was held on 16th February 2020 at DHA Sports Club – Moin Khan Cricket Academy.
